CONFINED - A war photojournalist is assigned to a retirement center to do stories on the residents while he recovers from an illness he acquired from his last posting.

This is a dramedy, suitable for Professional, Community and University theatre.

Cast:

2 men: 50-60 years old (one is wheelchair bound) 1 woman: 65 years old
2 women: 30-40 years old

Run time: 20 minutes

DEVIL'S ROPE - A successful Country Western singer/songwriter turns her back on singing and returns home to take up the life of showing horses. But she is racked by old fears and insecurities that threaten to trigger her self-destructive addictions. A confrontation with her long-dead favorite horse prompts her at last to cast off her self-proclaimed victim status and gain strength and independence.

A heavy drama suitable for University or Professional Theatre.

Cast:

BJ: Female, a singer, 30-ish
Rocket: Male horse, seductive
Snuff: Male ranch hand, 40-ish
Roxy: BJ’s mother, aged 50-ish

The Time: Present, a ranch in Texas

NEVERLAND - A newly-divorced man takes his daughter to Disney World over Christmas, hoping he can mend his relationship with her. When his daughter won’t get within ten feet of him he strikes up a conversation with a Disney character.

This is ideal for Community, University and Professional Theatres.

HARRY: 40-50 years old, downtrodden, a putz
CLARE: 15 years old. Spoiled, hateful
TINK: Herself

Run time: 10 minutes
